HISTORY Exact Tool Company, Inc. was established in 1969 in the Chicagoland area. ETCI has relocated several times in its history because of demands for expansion and growth. Currently, ETCI is located in Wheeling, IL, USA, a northwest suburb of Chicago. ETCI is located in a facility where there is space for growth. |
ETCI started out making plastic and zinc injection molds and stamping dies. By customer's request, ETCI started to run production stampings. Now ETCI stocks over 30 million stamping parts to provide customers with JIT delivery. After seventeen years of being in business, ETCI decided to diversify even more and expanded into zinc die casting to complement its extensive production of stampings for the lock industry. Zinc die casting is still going strong and expected to be a larger part of ETCI's business in the future. ETCI produces conventional and four-slide molds and castings alike. However, ETCI has not limited itself to the lock industry. ETCI also produces parts for office products, mailboxes, intercom communications, electrical contacts, among others.
